The siting room has a natural stone fireplace and exposed beams which add to the character of this beautiful cottage. The oil-fired stove will keep the cottage warm in the most extreme weather(although it will be rarely needed due to the efficient underfloor heating system).

The sitting room has a two seat setee and two separate chairs, one of which is a recliner allowing full relaxation in front of the TV or after a long walk in the dale.

Use the sitting room to plan your trips and visits. There are many books and maps allowing you to plan days out during your stay. Around the area there are many interesting places to visit, with shopping opportunities in Leyburn, Richmond and Barnard Castle.

The dining room has a solid oak table and six leather covered oak dining chairs. The floor is solid antique oak boards and there are exposed beams on the ceiling. A good quality sound system is provided with a selection of modern CDs. You can't fail to be comfortable and cosy with the underfloor heating.

The 'Green' bedroom has exposed ceiling timbers and a fabulous view of Swaledale. two single beds with good quality matresses and bedding are provided. A sink with mirror over is also provided.

The 'Lilac' bedroom has a king size double bed with a wardrobe room and a dressing table area with mirror over. Exposed oak truss and beams. Great views of Swaledale!

The kitchen is fitted with modern oak units and has a ceramic hob with fan oven and grill. A dishwasher, fridge/freezer and a washer - dryer are also provided. A ground floor wc and boiler room are located off the kitchen.Exposed beam and Velux windows above. Tiled floor with underfloor heating.
