What you will find in Reeth.....
Reeth has many attractions located around the wide sloping village green. The three pubs all serve good meals and real ales. Entertainment is provided on a regular basis with a full programme during the Spring and through to the Autumn period. There is a thriving Post Office with cash facilities and a well stocked shop. Three other shops are located around the green with a number of craft shops close by. The recently completed Dales Centre has a number of newly formed small crafts people making and selling their specialist goods, ranging from jewellery, to furniture, musical instruments and works of art. The local garage has an excellent forecourt shop and you can visit the Ice Cream parlour for a taste of traditional Dales Ice Cream and enjoy a freshly made cappuccino whilst enjoying the views. There are several tea shops and places to eat dotted around the Green. Try Overton House Cafe on the green for a fabulous evening meal- you'll have to book though! Reeth has a long tradition of fine crafts and we are pleased to recommend a visit to the Dales Craft Centre located just off Silver Street in Reeth, a few metres away from the Green. |
More about Moorlands Cottage.....
Moorlands Cottage is located very close to the village green in Reeth, just a few meters from the cobbled lane leading from the Green. Parking for the cottage is on the village green, and access is along a green lane from the cobbles. There is a level access to the cottage from the green lane with no steps to climb, although the cottage has steps within. The Oak external doors and low and wide, as most traditional Dales Cottages, giving easy access.
